Wow babies grow up fast! Addison is now 2 1/2 months old, and doing something new everyday! She's "talking," aka: cooing, more and more now, and is becomin
g quite the social butterfly - she'll "talk" to anyone who will take the time to talk to her!! In the picture to the left she was talking up a storm to Mark!Addie's first fourth of July was very mellow, as we went to the Santa Cruz cabin for the weekend. But we did stop by a BBQ at my Aunt Cyndi's house on our way out of town and hung out with 
some friends. It was miserably hot, and had been for awhile, so Aunt Cyndi's pool was like bath water! What better time for Addison's first time in the pool?! She absolutely loved it, and was splashing her arms around while our friend Sharee was holding her...she was so happy, and is definately going to be a water baby!

Every time Mark & I go to the cabin we wonder why we don't go more often! It was such a relaxing trip, and 
the perfect way to spend the weekend- and escape the triple-digit Modesto heat!! On Saturday we hung out at the cabin and visited with my Aunt Donna, who owns the cabin next door, and my cousin Jason. Later in the day we went downtown and just walked around, looking in different little stores. Then Sunday we went to the boardwalk and got some ice cream on the pier! We took Addie to the beach for her first beach experience and she got to put her feet in the sand...which she wasn't so excited about as you can tell by the picture on the left! She definately was not happy having sand between her toes!!

recently I mean today! She has been using a pacifier when she feels like it, but I guess she decided her thumb was superior to the silicone thingy mom and dad kept putting in her mouth! It was kinda out of the blue, as she hasn't shown much interest in her thumb, until today anyway! It's so darn cute, but I can't stop thinking: braces, braces, braces! Oh well, if she's anything like her mother then she'd need them anyway!!

We're looking forward to taking more fun trips this summer...hopefully another trip to the Santa Cruz cabin, to Tahoe, and some camping too...it should be a great first summer for Addie!!

Hey Aim!! Addison is really growing up! She's so beautiful - loved the update! I am glad you guys are beating the heat - triple digits are terrible. The weather hit 117 degrees out here yesterday. Eww. Give my love to the fam! Talk with you soon!
